Do spend more time in acquiring the most suitable name, it might sound and look expensive... you will save in a long run. (i.e. re-announcement of having the right name eventually.)

CompanyName.com available - if the local extension is available, you might want to reconsider. ie. CompanyName.com.sg, CompanyName.sg. Keep it, someone might abuse it.
